After ordering online, i came across the reviews on here so i was a bit worried that i wouldn't receive my order.

I called a few times and finally spoke to a lady who assured me that my shower would be with me that same week. I ordered on Monday and it was with me on Thursday. They are slightly let down by not always being able to get through to someone on the phone. But i would use them again.

Ordered a Hudson Reed mixer tap with The Cheap Tap Store at a great price, order was placed, email confirmation received and money taken. Then when after a few days we had not received our goods, we did start to wonder what was going on. Then decided to read the reviews about this company, and thought like many of the others, that we had been fooled and waved goodbye to over £100 down the drain and no tap.

Telephoned the company on various occasions and received no answer, calls always went onto an answer machine and we were placed number one in queue with no one ever answering. Sent an email and as expected no reply received. Was about to report this company to Trading Standards when unbelievably two weeks after placing our order and out of the blue, our tap was delivered today by Parcelforce. Goods received as ordered in perfect condition, but with no paper work such as invoice or receipt.

We must have been one of the very lucky ones to have actually received our goods, but I can only say place an order with this company at your peril and use a credit card as payment.

I would not use this company again due to the complete lack of communication and customer service. Still can't believe we have actually received our goods and do feel for the many other customers who haven't and have been left out of pocket.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If it even is a company. It seems like a one man operation with "Peter" the only employee. Placed an order and despite being a 3-5 day delivery, no goods arrived after 2 weeks. Phoned both lines and they are never answered.

And the 0844 always says you are 1 in the queue, to keep you on hold and pay for the call which they profit from. No replies to the voicemails I left. Nor any emails I sent. I spent £850 for two radiators, and for the sake of saving £150 compared to other sites, I wish I hadn't bothered.

The website also offers PayPal as payment, but doesn't actually work. They use the logo as a badge of trust. I have informed PayPal of this illegal use of their property. I am in the process of filing a claim with my credit card company in reclaiming the money back.

Be weary of the first review claiming 5 stars... Seems like something "Peter" has written.

Do yourself a favour and save yourself headache...Spend your money elsewhere.

No one answers the telephone, no one responds to email (even though I have read receipts) and no VAT invoices are issued so probably an issue for HMRC. Do not use this company!

I have ordered a Red Hudson Reed Radiator from the cheaptapstore.co.uk and have tried getting through on the number which said I am number 1 in the queue but I have been on hold for 30 mins and have not been able to get through, Has anyone else experienced this and have I been ripped off?? Can someone help me please

Found these guys on Google after looking for Hudson Reed taps and showers. Prices couldn't be beaten - seems odd that 99% of the other retailers are all charging the same price??

Spoke to Peter the owner who was very friendly, gave me some advice on a couple of bits - whether a Hudson Reed Kubix tap would work on my shoddy old water system in my house.

Placed an order over the phone with him, got an email 5 minutes later confirming the order and the delivery came with Parcelforce within 4 days. Great service and the products look fantastic, well worth the little bit extra I paid compared to stuff at B&Q.
