Nilfisk C120.2-6

Bought the Nilfisk Alto 120 C from screwfix 15 months ago and was very happy with performance and value for money until the lance split, particularly as I had only used a couple of dozen times and like all my tools treated with care. Contacted Nilfisk UK but they said they couldn't get replacement parts and I trawlled through the net and found that nobody stocked Nilfisk replacement parts. Also went to a reputable dealer who said failure rate after 12 months was common. My advice is this, if you are happy to spend £100 for 12 months use then get one but don't expect it to last. I will definately buy Karcher in future as the spares situation seems to be much better when things go wrong.

Chose this model after reading several reviews on the models available within my price range (£100-£150). Bundled accessories included a 15 metre drain cleaning hose as well as a deck cleaner and foaming bottle. A selection of nozzles and a brush completed the set.

Pump cuts out on no flow which saves energy and makes less noise. Easy to use and very effective on concrete paths etc. Excellent cleaning with less water use than a normal hose and broom.

No means of injecting detergent but as the spray bottle is a snap-lock connection the lack of in-line detergent has not been a drawback.
