Great Little Batler

Bought the Makita at Bunnings Mt Gravatt Brisbane for all of $57. Was looking at more expensive models ($200 and up) but the staff member directed me to this beauty and had to get it. Fired it up this morning and is performing brilliantly at removing years of mould around my house. Brilliant!!

Well I Haven't Suffered Any Of The Above Complicat

Well i haven't suffered any of the above complications with my Makita HW130.

My labourer managed to drop my one from a roof whilst cleaning it (the roof), it came crashing down, bits of plastic flew all over the place, a 13ft scaffold board then came crashing down on top of it, both the wheels were busted, but I switched it on and it worked as it did when new. I've now stripped the whole thing down and replaced the broken parts and its chuffing along like a choo choo train. So there ya go!, stark contrast to the above review. I do however have to replace the nozzles too now as they are blocked, but you can't hold makita responsible for that.

At First You May Assume Ithe Makita Hw 131 Will Do

At first you may assume ithe Makita HW 131 will do all those tasks you wish to accomplish

BUT first of all you have to get the beast started, couple it up! press the button !!! and nothing happens (mmmmm) it has fused , replace fuse same thing happens then you realise you have to turn the pressure valve to low ah! success but you have to remember to do this every time you attempt to start the darn thing. Next and worse thing to happen is the pump head needs replacing ( £86) and it appears it is quite a common problem with this contraption and I may add it has hardly been used and the warranty has just ran out as usual, everything built these days seem to have a lifespan of 13 mths or just over and built in Italy or china under a Japanese brand name, needless to say no more Makita in my shed from now on
