Lavor Tiger Pressure Washer

Had a Lavor Tiger Steam for some years. Light use (just the cars and occasional patio cleaning). Worked well. Hose and cable storage poor. Its a bit of hassle putting it away neatly. Mine had the steamer which I used very little, but was good enough since it added nearly nothing to the cost.

Mine is now giving up. I think the non-return valve has gone. The problem comes if you need service on one of these. I contacted (by phone or email), every company I could Google in the UK enquiring about spares. None replied. I tried contacting the official distributor and the number on their website was dead.

On this experience alone, I will not by another Lavor to replace this.

Bought this online over a year ago therefore out of warranty. Only used 3 times and lost pressure. Customer service appalling wanting me to buy new lance which was in new condition and worked on another machine. To speak to technicians costs 75p minute and £30 for them to look at. Avoid Lavor like the plague!

I would avoid buying Lavor washers - as I have found to my woe that if something does go wrong and if you want to activate your guarantee you will end up paying 75p a miniute just to go though to talk to them. Lidle are selling the 150 range which are cheap - but lidle will not guarantee anything themselves you will have to contact lavor which will mean you will end up paying 75p a minut.

My Lavor Tiger Pressure Washer only works when it wants to. I had mine for 3 years and I onlly used it half a dozen times when it broke down. I thinnk the pressure switch has packed up. On further examination there was no water filter at the inlet connection!! I will stick to a nown brand next time

Mine is a faulty unit. Tried contacting Lavor, but they will not send a refund or replacement and that means there is simply just none existent customer services so far.

Anything can break, or be faulty. But Lavor are the most unprofessional company i have dealt with in a long, long time. The lance broke within 2 short uses of the machine, was sent back for evaluation! Then next day a call to say £30 for a new 1 inch piece of metal inside. They then refused to sent it back without payment, told me it has only 30 day warranty as was an accessory. I would avoid at all costs, go to Argos. At least Argos will replace no questions for 12 months without a fight.

The Lavor Tiger Pressure Washer is okay for the money but I would go for something better next time. Works best with the turbo lance.

Never worked properly, with constant blockages and leaks. The service centre do not answer the phone (always an answer phone which does not even take messages). I have had no reply to emails that I have sent them regarding my Lavor Tiger Pressure Washer. Eventually it had to got the tip and I bought a Karcher.

The supplier of the Lavor Tiger pressure washer has been less than helpful. As far as they are concerned, it is out of warranty so tough. I am not prepared to accept this, so legal proceedings may follow.
