Poulan 1500LE

So far in 2007, I've purchased three of these and two have failed! The first failure was the recoil mechanism for the starter cord. Once it was pulled out it would not go back in. The second failure, although I religiously used the proper gas/oil mixture, was diagnosed as a burnout because of lack of oil. I dispute this, but the retailer took it back anyway.

I'm now, perhaps stupidly, on my third for the year and may return that, because of very difficult starting.
