Only Had It For 5 Years Of Light Use. Spent
Only had it for 5 years of light use.
Spent £150 on a new rear diff last year and now the gearbox has gone. They want £500 for a new one so basically the mower is now scrap. Will buy a better make next time.
In my opinion, Lawn King has weak transmission parts and very expensive spares.
...actually Lawn-king do not manufacture the parts you have had fault with. They are produced by specialist manufacturers whos products are fitted to a multitude of budget as well as upmarket brands. All transmissions could and do fail if not correctly maintained. How many times have you had the machine professionally serviced in five years? I know if I didn't get my car serviced after 5 years of use then sooner or later I am going to get a problem- and I don't work for Lawn-king before you ask.
