JCB HT60600 Hedge Trimmer

I bought this hedge trimmer as it looked very good quality and it was ready to go and had a three pin plug ready to plug in so I didnt read the manual, big mistake. The trimmer has a very clever notch to allow you to thread the cable into, this allows the cable to be pulled tightly without damage to the cable. As I had not done this I yanked the cable and buggered up the trimer. So take my advice and RTFM read the flipping manual. As sure as God made little apples you will at som point cut the cable, it is usually about 18" from the end, so unless unavoidable do not take the trimmer apart just put a three pin plug on the end that is left and use an extension lead.

This is a first class product from JCB I love it

The blade mounute frame is made of thin diecast metal and will break easily. You cannot get spares.

This JCB HT60600 Hedge Trimmer is the best mains trimmer that I have used.

The long blade length is great for taller hedges.

The wide blade spaces are great for cutting hedges that haven't been done for a while.

The long flex makes it unnecessary for extension leads unless you have a really long hedge.
