Gtech HT01 Cordless Telescopic Hedge Trimmer

Bought this trimmer about a year ago. It's fine on a privet style hedge but we have an escalonia and a beech hedge and it has difficulty getting through the stems on them.

Also beware of the battery. There is no light on the charger to say when it's fully charged. The instructions state that it needs charging for 15 hrs but not to leave the charger on for more than 24 hours. This is quite hard to do unless you put it on late at night and remember to unplug it in the morning. We lent our trimmer to a friend who forgot about this and now the battery is usless and we need to buy another one. Pretty poor for such a big company to be producing an inferior quality battery

Excellent product, obviously not as powerful as a petrol hedge trimmer, but its also no where near as loud, heavy or expensive either. I have beech and conifer hedges and it coped with ease. The battery runs for about 40 mins, the extendable handles are a great idea (now I have no need to use my ladder). For the money I spent (£69.95) online, the GTech HT01 hedge trimmer is a great product.

he Gtech HT01 Cordless Telescopic Hedge Trimmer is lightwieght and very easy to handle and use. Porbably runs for a bit more than the 45 mins stated on a full charge as I managed to do all my hedging twice over and i've still not had to recharge the battery.

When I bought a Gtech HT01 Cordless Telescopic Hedge Trimmer, I was a bit skeptical about whether with a 12v battery only it would cut all my hedges. I was pleasantly surprised as it did all I wanted it to do and more than I would have hoped. Obviously not as fast as a Stihl petrol trimmer but at a fraction of the price brilliant.

I think the Gtech HT01 Cordless Telescopic Hedge Trimmer is the best priced extendable hedge trimmer ever. Takes the hard work out of hedge cutting. Lightweight, easy to use.

I found the Gtech HT01 Cordless Telescopic Hedge Trimmer to be excellent, and so easy to use. You carry the power pack in your pocket. No problem with a 8 foot hedge.

The Gtech HT01 cordless telescopic hedge trimmer is a great buy. It reaches all those hard and high to reach places, and it can cut through branches up to 6" thick. I also like that it is not very heavy, so you can get your whole hedge done in no time.
