The Ryobi Bush Cutter Is A Good Little Machine But
the ryobi bush cutter is a good little machine but it is
very temperamental, i got the electric start model, and sometimes
it is infuriating trying to get it to start. I would steer clear
if i was looking to buy again.

The Ryobi Pbc-3046pr 30cc Brushcutter With D Loop
The Ryobi PBC-3046PR 30cc Brushcutter with D Loop has a nice professional feel, well balanced, great to have diffrent attachments, i have the Tiler that seems to work better pulling it backwards it digs deeper this way, also have the hedge trimmer too ... All well made. I find it can be a pig to start if you flood it ... plus I recommend you read the starting intructions properly as there are 2 choke positions but the first one is not for starting the engine.
once you get your head around starting it, it a good pro machine

Overall A Well Made Ryobi Unit. And Easy To Change
Overall a well made Ryobi unit. And easy to change the heads, the shoulder strap could do with a little more padding.

I Also Bought A Cultivator Attachment For Use With
I also bought a cultivator attachment for use with the Ryobi PBC-3046PR 30cc Brushcutter with D Loop strimmer, which also works well. The brush cutter blade made short work of reclaiming my overgrown allotment. This is great value for money, and you get more from this than you would from a cheaper petrol strimmer which wouldn't be up to the job.
ONLY £180 got me the Brushcutter/Strimmer, Pruner (mini chainsaw) and Cultivator.
Well I have registered and can see previous comments and realise my previous post will make me look pretty stupid, but honestly eithier I could not access or did not notice the previous comments last visit. Anyway to update you I have now bought the Brush Cutter/Strimmer (Cowhorn Handled) and Pruner for £143 from Ryobi Direct and it arrived in two days excellent service. I still want to buy the cultivator but I'm not prepared to pay £56 for it so will wait a while. Looking at the instructions it looks like I will have fun setting all this up on Saturday, but I'll let you know how I get on
I you look at my 2nd comment I do state where I bought it www.housemakers.co.uk. Please bear in mind that this review was made in June 2007 so prices may have gone up since then.
Very useful but wish he had put details of where he had bought it because that seems to be a fantastic deal, best I can get for the same package is £200
I bought my Ryobi PBC-3046PR 30cc Brushcutter with D Loop strimmer from www.housemakers.co.uk. It came as a boxed set. Maybe that promotion has ended. I think that if you get the brushcutter you will get a strimmer head as well. Why don't you give Housemakers a ring? They were very helpful when I spoke to them, and they know their stock well.
I found the review helpful, but I would like to know where the package was purchased for £180. I've looked and can only find the basic Ryobi Brushcutter for £159.99.
