We Have A Garden Plus 3 Paddocks Of An Acre Each (

We have a garden plus 3 paddocks of an acre each (so lots of edges to stim).

I used to have a Sthil FS56RC strimmre which is a good machine but never quiet sat right on my shoulder which meant that in use the inside of my forearm rested against the engine. After a while this becomes irritating and no matter how I adjust the strap I can't change this position.

I then bought the Honda (with bull horn handles). This machine is excellent, a bit heavier than the Sthil but much better balanced when on the harness (engine well behind you) and the Honda 4 stroke engine is quieter than the 2 stroke (any 2 stroke) and seems to vibrate less (probably revs less).

All in all the Stihl is a good machine for someone who strims for less than 1 hour. The Honda is the machine for you if you do 2-4 hours strimming at a time (thats me by the time I do all the edges of the paddocks, garden and access track).
