I consider Poulan chainsaws to be very good products, and I've bought at least a dozen chainsaws in my lifetime. I have bought and worn-out three Poulans, and the 18" I have now is quite satisfactory. My help usually is very tough on tools, so if they last one year, I'm satisfied.
