Little Ripper

I done about 10 hours on the saw over the last week. I use it to clear little trees and lopping limbs on trees. The saw is great for small diameter jobs, it is nice and light so you can use it all day. Just keep the chain sharp and the bar oil up and it will do its job. I would avoid cutting hardwood timber for firewood. get a bigger saw for that probably 50 - 60cc. The air filter is quite light and requires constant cleaning. It consumes a huge amount of bar oil, maybe the clutch driven oil pump is a bad thing. the on/off switch can be accidentally knocked mid cut which is annoying. overall a terrific little unit.

Have Owned This Saw For A Month Now And Have Done

Have owned this saw for a month now and have done around 20 hours on the saw clearing cypress up to 10" in diametre and with ease, just hold it steady and let the sharp chain rip, when i first bought the saw in the first hour of running time the saw would start between 5-8 pulls now that its been run in it starts 1-3 pulls and keeps going hard, bad points are well i cant really think of any it really is a professional saw in a little 30.5cc 14 inch bar saw, comparing to a husky or stihl the whole saw looks alot more sturdy and anti vibe mounts are better also this saw is reasonably quiet ehich makes it also neighbour friendly, the saw comes with a 2 year commercial warrenty and 5 year domestic, the saw retails from allpower in australia for $399 which is same price as the husqvarna 235e and stihl ms170 miniboss where those saws are for occasional use this would be the saw to buy very impressed
