Echo 26.9cc 30cm Chainsaw CS2700ES

Bought because of its small compact size and low weight,something the Japanese always seem to get right.Primer bulb and easy recoil starting are two welcome features,and general balance and feel are right.

Starts and runs fine,but is a little noisy on the ears.Seems to have plenty of power for the 14" bar and chain,but cant transmit it through the clutch.Have had lots of slipping when in hard work,so would recommend smaller bar.

Treat as a pruning saw only,and beware high spares prices compared with other saws.Still,nice addition to saws I have.I suppose a little robustness must be sacrificed for light weight.
