Orchids

With a bit of searching on the Internet for info, you can easily find an orchid (or many) that will be ideal for your windowsill. I have found that Regal Orchids (based in Scotland) has a very good site - www.regalorchids.co.uk with useful information as well as a wide variety of plants for the beginner. Also when it is time to repot you can get all the right compost, pots and fertilizer to give your plant the best chance to flower even better next time. I have found that once you get started on orchids there is no going back!

Orchids really like the hot weather and seem to flourish in such warm conditions like a greenhouse. But what I like the most is some fresh cut ones in the vase as the smell is delightful and there is colour so vibrant.
