I Invested About 1000$ In Suntuf Polycarbonate Pan
I invested about 1000$ in Suntuf Polycarbonate Panels and few weeks of hard work, doing a roofing by myself.
I performed everything exactly and accurately, according to manufacturer's installation guide and using recommended accessories.
After 1 year, the Polycarbonate cracked around screws holes.
I addresses several times to the manufacturer, but received no answer to my complaints.
The manufacturer claims the sheets are unbreakable and have a life expectancy of 30 years. Indeed?
The manufacturer claims the sheets are warranted for 10 years. Indeed?
My recommendation: don't buy.
You should have left 1-2mm of dilatation at least. As you know during the temperature differences materials tends to change dimensions. My opinion is that the material didn't have enough space to expand that mm it needed so the damage happend unfortunatelly. For jobs like that is always better to pay someone to do instead, in that way they need to guarantee.
