I used to buy a LOT at this site. I always look for some coupons to save some money on great (expensive) wines and go in person to pick up the order at a close by warehouse in Medley Florida.

Despite the coupons I normally spend from $200 to $1000 every few months.

Now many problems has occurred, one wine that was advertised at $7.99 and I ordered 20 bottles didn't went thru bad next day the price was double. Nobody wanted to match the old price.

More recent (yesterday) I placed an order for $105 and applied a coupon for $30 off. Since I was going to pick this up (as always) I chat with a client rep online to get an adjustment on the shipping charges, she did adjusted that but the $30 off coupon was gone and now I have dedicate half a day to get this resolve and still the best they want to offer is a $30 credit (to apply on future orders).

I said NO.

The coupon was meant to save me $30, to have those $30 in my pocket not into the corporation bank account.

Poor costumer services and inefficient website that makes unclear which orders qualify for Local Pick up an which doesn't.

I'll move all my business to the newest - closet Total Wine & More. I have gone there many times and they do whatever to make you happy and save you some money!

Wine.com is the big gorilla of wine club sites - they farm out their wine clubs to smaller vendors who specialize in certain categories. This is good and bad, because it allows a lot of choice - but isn't great if you're looking for that 'boutique' experience. Still, they've got great deals and can create something for most budgets. I like smaller personal wines, so I went with another service after trying them. But they're still good.
