Acceptable Tea: No Lapsang Flavour

Went looking for a replacement for Twinings Lapsang Souchong when they stopped selling it.

One of the replacements I bought was from Taylors of Harrogate as their coffee is so good and I drink a couple of mugs of two or three of the blends every day.

However. Deeply disappointed with this tea. Although it makes a perfectly acceptable cup of tea, there is no discernible flavour of Lapsang Souchong (which has been my favourite tea for many years, so I do know what I'm talking about).

Taylors Of Harrogate Lapsang Souchong Has A Terrib

Taylors of Harrogate Lapsang Souchong has a Terrible bitter aftertaste, buy a loose-leaf Lapsang Souchong from a gourmet coffee place instead, you'll be amazed at the difference.

May Be An Acquired Taste! Has A Really Good Tarry

May be an acquired taste! Has a really good tarry and smoky taste. Really good treatment for upset stomach. Best drunk black. Very refreshing during hot weather.

Tried Taylors of Harrogate Lapsang Souchong the other day, it tasted like smoked mackerel!! Yes, it is really like that. A very overpowering bonfire-type taste.
