Best Ever

This was the best tea I have ever tasted. Strong and robust. It's so sad they no longer make it. If they bring it back I would buy tons just to make sure if the supply!

If Carlsberg Made Tea......

Recently being somewhat financially struggling, I tried Tesco own brand, the red one. At a quid,I was happy and it was a good brew. My favourite tea is Punjana and failing that Yorkshire or even Lidl Knightsbridge Red. With money in the bank and the uncertainty of Brexit and political meltdown, and impressed by Tesco tea, I felt a need for fiscal caution and noticing Captain Scott blend at £1.55 I put a box in the trolley: good choice, great choice, best choice. A brew of history and distinction, strong and very refreshing. Probably the best tea in the world and makes one proud to be British. Like another commenter I shall be hoarding a few boxes. Life is too short to be drinking PG or Typhoo or indeed any average to poor tea. If the ship ever sinks make sure you've got a mug of this in yer hand.

Weak, Weak, Weak!

I recently ran out of my favourite tea, Punjana, and as a stop gap bought this brand as it is advertized as "strong". It isn't,to my taste it is weak and (I know this will sound stupid) watery! I even tried 2 bags in my cup and it was still weak. Another weak "strong" tea is PG Tips The Strong One.

Having Read About This Tea In The Times Earlier Th

Having read about this tea in The Times earlier this week, I am very, very impressed with it. Good dark colour and a great taste. Not to be tried by those that like a lot of milk and simply 'dip' their tea-bag for a second! A shame it isn't linked with success ...

Can't Agree More With The Reviews - This Is A Real

Can't agree more with the reviews - this is a real proper cup of strong tea and I'd recommend trying it. Only problem I have had is availability at Tesco. It seems to come and go so I have to stock up. Its also reasonably priced. Check it out.

Captain Scott's Is A Wonderful Strong Tea With A S

Captain Scott's is a wonderful strong tea with a smooth refreshing taste. The blend is akin to Assam.I have just used my last bag & have had to go back to PG tips. These seem very rough in comparison.

The Best Tea I've Tasted In A Long Time. Every Cup

The best tea I've tasted in a long time. Every cup's a pleasure, and I will say there's something very satisfying in drinking something that was first blended for one of our iconic moments in history - despite the fact it ended in failure! I would recommend this tea to anyone who likes their tea full bodied, satisfying and British!!!

Thoroughly Recommended Both As Method Of Quashing

Thoroughly recommended both as method of quashing your thirst when you're spitting feathers and as a robust palate cleanser after a takeaway. This has currently knocked Earl Grey off it's perch in our house.
