I Had Never Had Bitter Lemon Until January Of 2009
I had never had Bitter Lemon until January of 2009 and a Gin & Tonic has long been my favorite and standby drink. Bitter Lemon brings the Gin & Tonic to a whole new level of greatness! You should find this at your local grocery store. I had to look at Central Market in Southlake, TX for mine. It is simply not available at your local Kroger, Albersons and the like. You'll have to shop the nicer stores for it. Mine was $7.99 per six pack (10oz bottles). There are bad points? Oh, OK... Bitter Lemon is a bit pricey compared to just tonic water and availability is tough. That aside go forth and search! I take the advice my dad gave me a long time ago: If you can only afford to have one good drink have that. Don't drink 5 drinks of garbage. He was meaning the booze you drink... but I'll take it to the mixers too.

I purchase my Bitter Lemon from either Londis in Lane End, Bucks., or at Asda's Cressex store in High Wycombe.
I have noticed a distinct musty flavour in my last two purchases in the last month. What has happened? I regret to say that Asda's own brand now tastes superior to me!!!

I am living here in the states, Arkansas, and can't find a bottle of Bitter Lemon in this state. Any clues of who carry's this product or who do I contact? Gin isn't the same in the summer without my tonic or bitter lemon.

I have been a long-time fan of Bitter Lemon in the USA. I agree with this reviewer that the taste of Bitter Lemon has changed recently, for the worse. I find it has an unpleasant chemical taste, and the lemon quality is diminished. Does anyone have any definitive information on a reformulation of this beverage?
