Fentiman's Curiosity Cola Is Fizzy And It Contains
Fentiman's Curiosity Cola is fizzy and it contains extract of cola nut. Furthermore it tastes like a cola. That's settles then. It's a cola. It just happens to contain an extra ingredient, and this being a Fentiman's product, the extra ingredient is ginger. It's also lacking in a lot of current cola ingredients, but since they're all the polutants and stuff that may or may not (probably not) be good for you, we won't complain about that...
Basically, what you're getting is traditional ginger beer, which is naturally fizzy, then they add the cola. Nothing to it! And what it tastes like is cola, after someone with big boots has kicked the vat around for a bit. There's a bite there even if it's not frozen. In fact there's a bite there even when it goes flat.
Personally I can't get enough of the stuff. I don't know if that's because my brain's telling me that it's better for me than the chemical laden opposition, or if my body's just loving it because it is, quite frankly, delicious, but as a cola addict dating back to the days when I was the only guy in the band old enough to drive, I can say that this is now my favourite cola. Whenever I find a store that stocks it I try to negotiate a discount for a crateful.
And there's the downer. At approaching a quid a bottle, it's not cheap, and being so drinkable it's very tempting to just keep downing it, bottle after bottle. But if you have better self control than me, and who doesn't, give it a shot.
