Asda Goods

These people use all Asda and other cheap and cheerful supermarket fruits, drinks, nuts and snacks and pack them in their hamper and pretend all items are good quality stuff.

Don't be fooled by this! Buy your hamper elsewhere.

Worst Company Ever

PLEASE do not order from this company, they are awful, they took my order and my money, are not issuing a refund, and the customer service staff are so rude.

I made a huge mistake

Great Outcome After Bad Start!

Brother in SA ordered muffins for Mothers Day, but none arrived for Mum in England.

He got in touch with Cityfruits in Jo'Burg and eventually they were delivered a week later but upon

examination they were very battered looking.

I, the sister in England, phoned Cityfruits on their London number and a Mr.Shah said they would

despatch a fresh batch. They arrived Tuesday, as promised, in immaculate condition, beautifully

presented in a tissue lined box.

Great outcome - yes it would have been nice to get it right first time, but congrats for sorting out

problem so swiftly.

The service provider in SA was Net Florist. I received no response to my email sent to their care-line. I had to make repeated calls from my mobile phone to try get any form of information regarding the delivery. I have had no apology or further communication and i was very disappointed with the way they handled the whole thing. (Brother)

Most Foods Past Best Before Date

My Father was sent a hamper from my sister in South Africa to find that most of the items in the hamper had cityfruits.com stickers on them covering the expired best before dates my father had noticed the expired date on the Ferrero Rocher and called City Fruits regarding this for him to be told that it would be ok as chocolate does not go off but thes are supposed to be "Gourmet Food Hampers" the hamper also contained an out of date Christmas Cake And a Double Pack of Cheese the rest of the goods that i have seen from the hamper are also Short Dated

I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND BUYING FROM CITYFRUITS.COM

Refused To Send The Hamper And Extremely Rude

I ordered the hamper online, and payment was taken from my account. After receiving an email asking me to phone them I was told that the hamper was not going to be sent, and that they did not have to supply me with a reason (this was after they had received payment).

Throughout this experience the two people that I spoke with were easily the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with, including them hanging up on me and issuing veiled threats towards me.

To be fair I did phone a few times as I was suspicious that this was a bogus company (it seems that it is not one, as the refund was processed), but they were rude and insulting.

I could understand problems if they had not received payment, but there was absolutely no problem with this, and they received the funds with no problem (hence, a refund was required). Logically, the only reason a company would choose not to deal with you, once they had taken the money, was that they did not have the stock or could not deliver in the promised time. This is pure speculation but at no stage did they offer any reason whatsoever.

I've never come across such poor service and would definitely advise people to not use them.

Not Trustworthy And Awful Customer Service.

I wanted to send a fruit hamper to a friend and didn't receive a confirmation email or call after I completed my order. I didn't want to hassle my friend about whether they had received the hamper as it was a surprise but 2 weeks later after emailing cityfruits.com twice, I found out that the order didn't go through because I gave them a mobile number rather than a landline number (which I don't have!!!) and they couldn't explain why they didn't let me know. I can't believe they didn't respond to any of my emails asking them what had happended with my order and I didn't get contacted about my order problems. Highly unreliable and unprofessional.

In this day and age, you expect companies that sell online to be able to complete orders and fulfill them and if they have any problems to contact you directly about the problems or at least let you know that your order wasn't successful. Especially when the business deals with time sensitive gift hampers!

The Fruit Basket Was Very Well & Happily Received

The fruit basket was very well & happily received by the recipient who was in hospital, it was just what he wanted (fruit was very refreshing within the dry confines of the hospital). And chocolates were appreciated, making the basket a well-rounded gift.

I would not hesitate to use it again when needed.

Put An Order In In December, Orders Did Not Get De

Put an order in in December, orders did not get delivered. I was charged

for them. When I rang them they said that they did not get delivered as there was an incomplete address but they did not contact me. I am now trying to get my money back. They said Paypal have the money, Paypal say that Cityfruits uk have the money. The whole experience is very unpleasant. Cityfruits are refusing to help at all.

I ordered the christmas fruit basket and received a big thank from my friend for this lovely basket. My friend really loved the way it was packed and presented. The delivery service provided was also excellent as it reached on time. Excellent!
