Smells Like Nappies
As soon as hot water is added to the powder, the room is filled with a dirty-nappy-like-stench.
It's sick. And not sick as in good. Sick as in vomit.
Stick with options belgian hot chocolate.
You cannot go wrong.

Bournville Chocolate Is A Huge Letdown For Someone
Bournville Chocolate is a huge letdown for someone is familiar with fine chocolate. It's clear that Cadbury's has put all their efforts into the marketing of this product and has done nothing to increase the quality over the products that they already have on offer, which in my experience fall under the category "candy remotely based on the chocolate experience".
On the other hand, if you aren't familiar with the taste of fine chocolate and your only experience is the look of a Lindt or chocolate bar in the store window, then you are exactly the kind of customer Cadbury's is looking for:
- can only tell good chocolate from bad by the look of the packaging (and cost),
- won't pay the extra money for the established artisan chocolates,
- yet interested in trying something "better"
Bournville is proof that people will believe anything as long as it's said enough. Unfortunately I cannot compete with Cadbury's marketing.

The Packaging Is Divine, The Red Is Eye Catching,
The packaging is divine, the red is eye catching, and has a royal feel to it. The chocolate smells heavenly, it looks and taste so pure, it makes milk chocolate seem inferior. The taste is so unreal, it melts in the mouth if its at room temperature, you can taste the rich cocoa taste, and it is a real mood booster.

Being A Fan Of Dark Chocolate, I Can Honestly Say
Being a fan of dark chocolate, I can honestly say that Bournville chocolate is a little too sweet these days, compared to other brands of dark chocolate, as not enough cocoa is used. Even continental milk chocolates contain more cocoa than Bournville. I feel that Cadbury's could do better with this chocolate by increasing the cocoa content.
