Energy Giving Biscuits

Ive loved these since I was a child, they are very good and is a quick source of energy. Sir Alex ferguson used to give Jaffa cakes to his players at half time. They are very good but like everything, it must be taken in propotion. Eat too much and you will be sick.

Too Pricey And The Quality Has Been Slipping Over

Too pricey and the quality has been slipping over the last 5-8 years...

Don't get me wrong i absolutely adore jaffa cakes, i grew up on them as they were the top three biscuits mostly eaten at my house.

its just with todays supermarkets and the introduction of other versions of these original products the originals are just not holding up.

if you shop at asda you'll likely pay £1.27 for a tube of mcvities jaffa cakes, containing roughly 12 of them.

now if you're the type of shopper like me who likes to get value out of their purchases you will have noticed asda's own version of jaffa cakes at an amazing 36p! the first time i bought them i was skeptical because the packaging isnt that good and because they were so cheap i figured they'd be such a poor substitute...boy was i wrong! they basically taste the same and i asked myself why mcvities cost so much and it hit me, it's flashing packaging! you're paying 80 odd pence extra for a fancy tube that gets thrown in the bin 10 minutes after you open said product

I Just Found A Hair In The Orange Centre Of My Jaf

I just found a hair in the orange centre of my jaffa cake. Definitely not one of mine as it is white and was stuck fast in the orange.

Disgusting.

I And Members Of My Family Have Always Enjoyed The

I and members of my family have always enjoyed the great taste and quality in this product, however the standard in jaffa cakes let me down today!!!! this morning i found plastic coating to an electrical wire in my sons jaffa cake... i was disgusted, he was just about to put it in his mouth when i saw an alien red object within it and had to take it from him. it is about 6-7 millimetres long and is very hard. a child, even an adult would of easily choked on this if consumed. i will definitly be thinking twice about buying these again!!!! -POOR- :-(

My Son Had His First Proper Birthday Party, And Kn

My son had his first proper birthday party, and knowing that Jaffa Cakes were his favourites, I bought countless packets of them, only to find on the day that they were either completely crushed (not by me - Ocado delivered them), and in some packets they had no jelly centre, which was a huge disappointment to the little ones. I think this is an important point and issue that McVities need to take into consideration in the future, if this company is to be a success, as I shall never purchase McVities Jaffa Cakes again.
