I found Wolf Blass Eaglehawk to be smooth, fruity, a very good wine. The first time that I had tasted this wine was at a dinner party last Friday and following a choice we all stayed with this one.

YELLOW LABEL: Amazing smooth taste, not too sweet, not bitter and no hangover!! I suffer from headaches a lot with Red wine and this wine seems to react well with me, I love it!! One of my favourite wines by far, I usually go for Spanish reds but this is wonderful!!

Wolf Blass's Eaglehawk Shiraz Is Not The Best From
Wolf Blass's Eaglehawk Shiraz is not the best from this premium wine maker but at £5 per bottle it serves well. It is a rich velvety red bursting with the deep redness of cherries and an almost Arabian spiciness that would warm through even the coldest of winters. This delight is best served with an equally rich meal such as Roast Beef, Lamb Shanks or Venison. I choose the latter and the wine complimented it superbly.
My only complaint is a slight coarseness on the finish. This is not a usual character with the Wolf Blass range and I wouldn't want it to discourage any new drinkers to the brand, from trying others.
