Absolut Vodka taste like rubbing alcohol

Absolut is the generic default halfway-decent vodka. The unflavored version is good, although not remarkable. Absolut comes in a rainbow of flavors, some better than others. I'm a bit of a purist with my booze, and generally prefer my spirits unflavored, although I rather like Absolut Citron, and find Vanil to be rather intriguing. For the pure vodka, though, Stolichnaya is about the same price and far more interesting. Grey Goose is more expensive, but worth it.

Absolut is perfect as a long drink, beautiful on the rocks, has a big kick and comes in many flavours. I recommend the Peppar, Citron and Blue ones best. For the weaker people there's a new Vanilla one but the kick hits a lot more after a mouthful if you have it straight. The vanilla is better in coffee, citron in lemonade and ribena and frozen is fantastic slush for a party. If I weren't such a respectable young lady, I would drink it in everything!
