Harviestoun Schiehallion Is A Very Hoppy, Full, Bu
Harviestoun Schiehallion is a very hoppy, full, but light flavoured beer.
Celtic ale is traditionally red(ish), malty and mild flavoured with a very low hop count. Schiehllion turns that on it's head using loads of German and Challenger hops to get a floral and citrus buzz.
It is a damn Fine Beer from a bottle, but I wonder what it is like fresh from the barrel?!
I absolutely agree about the free daily delivery! I also find the bottles rather small, and are soon finished. Seriously, Harviestoun Schiehallion is a really good beer. I'm sure there are local beers in Bristol that are as good? I live near Aviemore, and we have a local brewery that brews some smart beers. I must start drinking them slowly so I can think about them and review them. Well done for the cosmopolitan taste!
