I Am A Big Fan Of Most Of The Czech Beers, And Thi
I am a big fan of most of the Czech beers, and this is no exception. Refreshing and tasty it's a great example of what lager should be about. I'm normally a real ale drinker, but I am often tempted by Budvar if it's available.
Readily available in supermarkets and in lots of pubs. It can carry a heavy price tag in a lot of trendier bars, but I'd rather pay over £3 for Budvar than most other lagers with that cachet.
What ever you do do not confuse this with the "other" Budweiser which is tasteless fizzy dross, brewed with many grains besides barley, and in the UK. The orignal Czech Budweiser is superior in every conceivable way. I'd recommend it.
