Bangla Bangladeshi Lager

Funny how peoples opinion varies. I think this is the best beer available. I tend to prefer the better quality lagers like Stella, Kingfisher, Cobra. But Bangla lager in my mind is much better than any of the competition.

I saw this in an Indian restaurant, and thought I'd give it a go. That was a bad mistake it's terrible. It has a nasty syrupy taste and texture, sickly, with a cehmically aftertaste. It's the only beer I know from Bangladesh, and if this is the best they can come up with I hope they don't make any more. It is brewed to cater for the British Indian restauarant market, but I'd stick to Cobra, Kingfisher or the best curry accompanyment: Carlsberg
