Been After A More Powerful Led Torch For Some Time

Been after a more powerful LED torch for some time now. Got it from Maplin electricals.

It is really well made of machined aluminium, would do some damage if used as a defensive weapon I imagine, and I don't doubt it would surive undamaged.

Really high praise goes to the beam pattern which is really well balanced, no dark spots at all.

Comes with its own case, torch can be used in the case too.

It states a burn time of 60 hours on 3 D cells, done 30 so far no dimming at all.

Has 3 settings: on high, on low, on flash. Switch is positive and works well.

3 Watt cree does the business, it boasts 175 lumens. I should say thats about right.

So if you want a tough, bright, "blokey" torch log off e bay with all the dodgy rubbish, get down Maplins you will not be dissapointed.

In principle I agree however the switch on mine broke after 3 months use:

Its design is weak and iam unable to find a support line for the product.

Another throw it away product climate change

Any thoughts

I have two Refrakta Cree LED aluminium torches. Product code cree A76JX, which the switches have broken. I know how to fit the switches and would like to know if it would be possable to buy two switches from the company? How much it would cost me for them plus the rubber covers for the switches?
