I Bought 3 For Cutting Up Stainless Steel Stock Eg
I bought 3 for cutting up stainless steel stock eg. 50mm x 16swg round hollow section, 50 x 3mm solid flat, 25 x 6mm solid flat, etc. The blade is still sharp after a fair bit of use. I haven't tried a Dewalt Stainless steel blade, but at £300 each I think I'll keep going with my £55 Jancy's.The cut is generally good; smooth and quick, although it does leave a 3mm wire at the end of the cut (the thickness of the blade), other than that there is no heat dis-colouring, are no other burrs and even the cut face is fairly smooth for a metal saw. It takes about 10 secs to go through 50mm x 16swg round hollow section, which, is much better & quicker than an angle grinder type disc.I use mine with a Dewalt DW872 Metalica Chopsaw. The jancy slugger has; laser cut anti-vibration slots, tungsten carbide teeth, 90 tooth, 14 inch blade, 1" arbour.
