Irwin Record T36 6" Vice

This Irwin Record T36 6" Vice is a powerhouse; It has a small anvil on the rear casing, quick release and swivel base as an optional extra. The jaws are replaceable as it seems is every other part from Irwin's catalogue. I think it is an heirloom tool capable of serving a few family generations very well. Irwin in Sheffield, UK. claim it to be their "flagship vice".Neither the vice nor the swivel base foul the rear jaw vertical line for approx. 1.5" to either side of the jaw ends ensuring that long vertical pieces can be held securely without fouling. Not recommended for incidental use. I couldn't find a picture of it on the internet at all - when listed at various tool sites all the pictures showed the wrong model number.
