Makita 6281DWPE 14.4V Cordless Drill Driver (2x 1.3Ah NiCD Batteries)

I use this drill quite a lot as i am a farm owner, as their is always things to be fixed or made. I bought in Screwfix when they were selling them off for £69.99 (I think). So far has worked really well, the batteries supplied have so much power in one and you get 2 of them, and a very quick charger. It is a drill driver and therefore not ment to be used in walls however my big Bosch 18V combi drill was not hold its charge for more than ten minutes so i gave this one a go at drilling into walls, it was not as quick as the Bosch but it worked well. I was then needing to drill into metal it worked well. It says that it will drill roughly 25mm in wood, i managed to use it to get an 8mm drill bit through 10cm of very hard oak. My only problem is the fact that it is useless when you do not want to drill a pilate hole nd just drill into the wood directly with the screw.
