My 12 year old daughter went to Camp Kimama in 2013, and she absolutely loved it. She came back after her two week session, and could not stop talking about her experience. She made several new friends, both Israeli kids and others, and fell in love with Israel. She now wants to continue learning Hebrew, and can't wait until next summer to go back to camp and reunite with her friends and counselors. I have sent her to other Jewish camps before Kimama, and she never really connected to them… Read Full Review

Do not send your children here if you expect to be able to communicate with them, have your emails passed to them or expect to be able to telephone and speak to a person in authority no matter how urgent the matter. Despite their claims that their is an email address to have messages passed to your children this is not true and in addition if you send emails yourself to the office they are just ignored despite being titled urgent, critical etc. Similarly if you call you cannot speak to a… Read Full Review

If you are thinking about sending your kid or teen to Camp Kimama, then you are already thinking in the right direction! I used to work in the registration department of Camp Kimama. Back then as a director of international registration I talked with hundreds of Kimama parents from the years past. I was amazed to hear the parents talk!
