I found the April staff to be friendly and professional on the telephone. They were informative about what conditions could / could not be included in my new policy. The final thing that clinched it for me was the price whereby I did not have to pay for things that I couldn't claim for anyway. Although I was able to download the key documents from the emails I have since received copies of the large policy and ABI booklets in the post.

The person I dealt with was very through and helpful, made everything easy and clear to make a decision to take out a policy with them.

Got called by April UK unsolicited trying to sell me insurance. Off their website it states: "Excellent customer service and high ethical standards are key principles for all APRIL representatives." Well cold calling random companies and claiming that I am on a database is not ethical selling in my opinion.

After a bad experience with my local NHS hospital and a being 'forced' into self-funding what was considered immediate surgery I experienced excellent service at my local Spire Parkway Hospital. Whilst there I picked up a leaflet which talked about the benefits of private medical insurance through April UK. My wife and I read the leaflet and looked at the April UK website, and other Medical Insurance sites, and decided jointly that the way forward was with April UK. We made contact and received excellent service from the Business Consultant assigned to us and after reading through the paperwork sent to us we signed on the dotted line. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending April UK to friends and family.

I cannot fault their ability to deal with a claim as quickly as they have especially at a time where I was dealing with a life threating illness and was in hospital many times. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff as they always took the time to talk through any queries my wife had when filling in forms in a kind and sympathetic manner. I have absolutely no complaints or can say anything I didn't like about April UK and would have no hesitation in recommending them as the best on the market. 10/10

I have been using this company for many years and have always found them to provide a fast, efficient service.

I cannot recommend this company high enough. My claims are dealt with efficiently, and I am impressed that my request for direct payments into my bank are always met. We have never had any problems over the years, in fact, when my daughter was diagnosed with a serious illness, I remember speaking with a very professional and kind member of staff. I am so thankful that my husband took out the family cover, as it was truly a great help at a very difficult time. Nobody ever wants to have a loved one seriously ill, and due to having the health insurance, we were able to be with our daughter in hospital, with some financial help.

I am very happy with the service received so far. I spoke with an advisor who was one of the most efficient people I've dealt with (where a service is being provided) for a long time. I feel well-informed, assured and secure about the policy my partner and I have bought in to. Everything was explained in full and she had plenty of time for my questions - even better to be told that she would be our relationship contact moving forward in the event of any questions. After a few calls to various companies, I feel satisfied with the product/service we have signed up to. All insured and based in the UK too! Pricing was reasonable, affordable and easy to understand so we know exactly what we have agreed to. My experience, to date, is good and I would recommend to others.

I have found this Plan to have a lot of Health Cover and the Lady that helped me set everything up on the Phone was excellent and explained everything fully and went in to great detail about the benefits and care that this plan entitled me too which was very encouraging and helped me decide that this was what I wanted Before taking out this Plan I was recently treated in Spire Murrayfield Edinburgh and had the excellent care and attention from all the staff this is why I was interested in taking out this Health Cover Plan
