The two advisers I spoke to, the first who gathered the information and the second who went through the detail were excellent. Both were friendly and knew what they were doing. A good experience compared to other companies I have been approached by. I liked the texts to remind of phone consultations. I felt the advisers were listening to me. Good follow up by email and by post. All in all a good experience. Quote higher than I expected but I am getting older!

I received an email from Active Quote the day before my Health insurance was to be renewed. I did not wish to renew as my situation had changed and replied immediately expressing this. The agent I was emailing then said he would inform the insurance provider immediately. A few days later the money had still been withdrawn from my account. My agent then informed me that the renewal process had already been initiated and was too late to cancel however he would submit an application to have my money refunded. I was a little annoyed he couldn't of told me this earlier and acted on it however as long as I got my money back I was happy. This was the end of email responses within 72 hours and the beginning of one way communication from myself. I emailed the agent several times after this point trying to get information on when my refund is to be expected but I didn't get a response. Eventually I contacted my insurance provider directly after 20 days or so and they said they would refund my money back to me within a few working days (obviously having not received an application from Active Quote). I did get my money back but in the end I had an overdrawn fee of £22 to pay for the days I was overdrawn. I emailed numerous people at Active Quote and eventually got a response. They refused to accept any response and then again went onto ignoring my emails. In future I would not use Active Quote as they have been a really hard to get hold off and have been disrespectful and far from upstanding in their communication with me. I would like to point out that my insurance provider, WPA, have been great throughout the term of cover however I have very little positive to say about Active Quote.

I was very impressed with the high level of service provided by Rhys James. His knowledge of the products was evident as the facts and figures seemed to roll off his tongue. I was very impressed when Rhys managed to save me a further 40% on my policy price (I was prepared to pay the original policy price). He went away spoke to the insurance company and managed to secure me the discount, which I was very impressed with as he could have easily have sold me the policy at full price as I first intended. Overall a great customer rep who is an asset to the company and deserves recognition. Chris Mellin

My unemployment insurance was due for automatic rennovation and I have been called up from Activequote and have been informed of a major increase from the insurance company. I had a very pleasurable and efficient talk with Ross from Activequote who illustrated me various solutions and quickly understood what I was after. He went to do some digging for me and came back later that day with few ideas and solutions. He clearly explained in details the different policies and went for an alternative to what I had currently in place. I am extremely happy with the service provided and would recommend anyone to contacting them whatever the lump sum you want to spend on your unemployment insurance.

Very easy to set this policy up 4 years ago and each renewal since has been very hassle free. Staff appear very knowledgable about the product and the overall customer service has always been excellent. A very pleasing experience.

All I can say for this company is "Nothing is too much trouble". I actually cancelled my policy but even this they handled in a most professional and friendly manner. I would definitely recommend them

The staff member gave good information to me, then left me to make my own decision on what Private Medical insurance was right for me and my husband. I didnt get any hassle or constant sales calls. When I had decided, it was set up quickly and easily, I had the documents in good time, it has all been nice and easy so far. I have only just set this up, so no claim has been made as yet (and hopefully not for some time!) so I cant comment on that side of things.

Would recommend to any one wanting insurance. Customer service is excellent and very professional in there manner and approach to things. They are very well informed of all the information that is required with no having to hold on the phone at any time. They make sure you have the right policy for the right price without making you spend more than you have to.

Good service and friendly staff. They keep in contact and regularly review your options at renewal date. Does all the legwork for you. Not too pushy, and know what they are talking about.

I was first recommended ActiveQuote by a friend last year, they were extremely efficient and helpful, with clear, understandable advice over the phone initially and so I took out a medical policy with them. This year I was delighted to see a simple email advising me that my renewal was due and it took no more than me confirming 'yes please' in an email to renew for another year, and the premium had gone down. Would highly recommend using ActiveQuote to anyone.

Activequote health insurance advice Having returned from Australia with pre-existing conditions and having had a poor experience with private health insurance there we were wary of the market here but the rep from Activequote did suggest a very competitive product and did spend a lot of time going through the different price options vis a vis excesses etc. I felt we got good advice and he did make us feel like individuals rather than simply a customer to screw the most out of.The deal that he suggested bench marked well with the market and he didn't demure when we checked out his suggestion against the closest contender that we had established ourselves and established that his suggestion gave us unrestricted access without time delays which tipped the balance in his favour. He was also willing to spend time answering queries, even after,I'm sure, I'd asked the same question before. The form filling took some time but the questions on the full med disclosure form were logical and did not appear to be worded to catch you out. All in all a lengthy process but I felt that I was made much more aware of the exclusions and the parameters of the policy than ever I was in Australia and I would recommend them as a starting point in this very competitive market. I would expect that it will be difficult to beat their recommendation if you are comparing like with like and the experience will be a pleasent one rather than a pressured and fraught one .
