I was looking into moving to Australia to work but was concerned about the hassle of moving countries and comparing all the services and getting the information required. I found 457 Visa Compared to be a very helpful website in comparing and understanding the different insurance options and requirements available in Australia. I primarily used it to find out about health insurance for my partner and myself. This comparison site lets me see a range of options and what they offer on one page along with suggested priced so it isnt all so overwhelming.

The Australian migration system is extremely complex and I have found it frustrating the changes made on the 1st of July have further complicated what should be a straightforward process. I found this site helpful to do key actions needed for the 457 visa process including getting my health insurance which is compulsory under the 457 visa system. I'm also appreciative of Justn who responded when I sent a private message through facebook about a question I had about insurance for a subclass 457 visa holder and wanted to leave a review based on that interaction.

I have found 457 visa compared a great resource during my time in Australia. Since arriving in Newcastle I have used this site to switch my private health insurer and purchase travel insurance that meets my 457 visa requirements when travelling to NZ. I e-mailed the site last week and received a reply overnight which is a lot better then some other sites I have contacted in the past. The only negative feedback is that you can't actually purchase any of the policies they advertise through their site. Instead they refer you onwards to the providers site.

Found this website to try and find health insurance for when i'll be working in the country. It recommended one that was quite cheap, and offered coverage as good as the more expensive ones. Very happy with it!
