“15 months late”

Moved house in March 2011. Rang EDF with the meter reading. I have just received their inaccurate bill today (addressed to the old house incidentally)....15 months late. They had no explanation why it has taken them so long. Customer services tried to make out that it was because I hadn't informed them of the move at the time! Funny how their electricity colleagues managed to get it sorted straight away. Now trying to argue the meter reading with them as they have charged 300 extra units.
