Order of 3 heucheras arrived rotted away and covered in mould/fungus. Initial message, with photos, via their online customer contact form totally ignored. Spoke to an unfriendly, unhelpful customer service representative, who told me to repack them and post them back, at which point they'd consider a refund. Sent an email to their sales department, with photos again, which resulted eventually in being told to cut out the rot, mould and fungus and plant them anyway. I've used J Parkers several times over the last couple of years with no issues, but after this latest experience won't be using them again.

I bought an order for over £50 two sections of the order were dead or poor quality. I took a photo and asked for a refund .I was told to either plant them and see how they did or parcel them up and return them . I asked for return labels but was told it was not their policy to issue them? They could see they were quite unusably!Therefore it is obviously not worth all the bother of sending them back and paying postage as I am sure they are aware! All plants were in tiny pots & dry. Do not buy or be taken in with their free offers. Which bye the way was not available when I received my order

The main problem stems from the delivery service Envi who are one step ahead of Yodel in terms of bad delivery service. Ie poor handling of plants, get a decent firm and improve plant life 100 per cent.

Don't buy from this company. Very very disappointed in the condition of some of the plants I received,lupin plugs dead, and others that you plant under the soil haven't made an appearance. Got better plants from Wilko. I have emailed them with photos no response at all!!!! AVOID!!!!

After waiting seven weeks for my order just received an email saying that due to a supply chain issue (what’s when it’s at home) they will not be able to fulfil my order. So….no plants at all and now can’t get them anywhere else as it’s too late. Completely ruined y summer planting plans. Never ever again!!

Ordered a number of plants and bulbs, they were stuck in transit over the bank holiday weekend and when I received them all the leaves were in the bottom of the box and I was left with twig tiny plants ! An absolute disgrace. Emailed company to complain with photos and no response ! Shocking customer service also - not sure how businesses like this are still surviving sending shoddy goods out and not responding to complaints ! I do not recommend and I will not be using in the future.

The first plants arrived in a state of total annihilation. A pile of earth and sad plants. It looked like the box had been shaken an every possible opportunity. I phoned to cancel the order and the customer service was terrible. I waited 15 mins in gold for a very terse assistant who promised that she’d sort out a refund but wouldn’t do it while I was on the call. She then hung up when I said I wanted to wait for her to confirm the refund. I’m waiting for a confirmation email and hope I don’t have to call and wait to speak to someone again I will never use this company again

... from every angle! If I could give zero stars or less, I would! Product quality? The 108 plants I ordered, at a cost of £157.82, started to arrive at the beginning of April. All of the first batch of 36 plants have survived, but it's been downhill with every delivery since then. Of the remaing 72 plants I've received, the last of which arrived on April 30th, only 34 plants remain. The greatest percentage of these losses had occurred before I even took receipt! The total cost of my losses to date is £55.53. Customer support? It does not exist. It's now May 5th, and I first contacted J Parkers 'support' on April 19th. I've not had any response whatsoever, despite sending an additional couple of emails. DO NOT use J Parkers, unless you want to throw your money away! I, for one, will never use them again.

Ordered a variety of 'collections' of plants from border plants and ground cover to perennial plugs to grasses. All were very poor quality. They were not just a little bit wilted from transport as they put in their disclaimer blurb. These were just pathetic from the moment they left the nursery, obviously not quality checked or perhaps they just send out rubbish and hope they get away with it. Spent over a hundred pounds and very little will be useable this year. Now I have to find space to keep these poor plants while I nurse them to health, if they survive at all and Will have to spend more money now and go down the local nursery to get something decent to put in the garden this year. Will never buy plants on-line again.

Ordered 3 peonies each of 'Mr G.F. Hemerik' and 3 Nippons and they came like dry rots with mould. Not a sign of any bud or pinky white at all. Mostly brown with a tiny bit of white. Complained about 1 and got refund for one. They asked me to submit a review. I refused as I had reservation about the rest of the stuff. The rest all turned out to be rotten. I emailed them tons of photos and they just ignored me.

I purchased petunias in good faith from these people. They were supposed to only arrive in the middle of May. They arrived during the first week in April!!! I phoned to complain & the man said a very flippant “sorry”!!! I planted them out as directed & have kept them inside. Most of them have died. I have SIX healthy plants left from an order of THIRTY SIX!!! Please think twice before placing an order with these people. Disgusting, non-existent service & a “we don’t care” attitude!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Agapanthus corms thick with mud and still smaller than a pound coin, nothing like advertised. Lavender only dead sticks. Still waiting for reply to my email but not holding my breath. I question the reviews on J Parker's website (all 5 stars),I must just be very very unlucky.

My fruit tree order was mis-rooted by EVRi and took several days to reach me with the result that the roots were dried out. When I complained I was told to send them back in order to get them replaced. I got similar trees from a local store for £6 each.

You have only to look at the size of the plug plant and the asking price. Talking Alstromeria atm, Parkers asking nearly £18 quid, for 3 plants that only measure 50mm, thats less than 2" ,(old money). Thus you have to wait seasons on and on before full size. That is, if they have sent you the right plant!! I would rather pay £18 for one plant, more mature and one that you could see that it was the right size and colour. Once bitten/ twice shy. I cannot put my trust in buying from them.

After waiting 5 weeks for 4 simple items that I paid for immediately I have had to cancel the order. They clearly don't stock any of the items they sell but try to source and resell hem to customers after you have paid for them and expect them to be shipped. Shoddy and unscrupulous behaviour and unacceptablelack of clarity for customers. Contacted them twice and both time my concerns were just brushed off finally had to demand a refund which they claim they have actioned but as yet not recieved. AVOID AT ALL COST

Ordered a large number of lavender plug plants for a memorial garden. These were delivered with a three day delivery. On arrival, a number were already dying and had crisp, dry, brown leaves. I tried to revive them but it just were too far gone. Interestingly the head gardener also commented on the poor quality of what was delivered. 90% died within the week and could not be established. I normally grow from cuttings but thought I would order from here which was a mistake. I wouldn’t recommend using this company for any future purchases.

In February I ordered 4 ready planted hanging baskets..Begonias. Received email in May to say on their way...6days later still no sign of them. Phoned up and they reordered them after 3weeks wait again only 2arrived..which were ok. The next week the other 2arrived all broken up, with the chain broken on one of the baskets. £85 for broken up plants and baskets Will never use again and will definitely not be recommending to anyone Disgusting customer service

Ordered agapanthus plants which didn’t grow on. I am an experienced gardener who knows how to grow on plants. I complained to Parker’s asking for new plants or refund of my costs. Getting nowhere with them. I certainly won’t order any plants from them. Nil customer service.
