My name is Paul. I have been volunteering in the VFN orphanage in Sanepa, Kathmandu for the past 3 weeks and have been thoroughly enjoying myself. The orphanage is run by Lalit and currently provides a home for 16 orphaned children. The kids are all so adorable, they speak very good English and it is a pleasure to spend time with them. I already know i will miss them greatly when i leave. To anyone looking to volunteer in this part of the world i would strongly suggest they work with VFN as they are not only a good volunteer company, but also put the money you give towards a great cause, worthy of donation in itself. At the very least i would suggest looking over the VFN website as this will give you a better idea of what they do, both for the destitute children of Nepal and for you during your time in the country.

Me and my friend Sébastien stayed in the Lalit's orphanage Volunteer Foundation Nepal for 5 nights, and it was the best thing we do in Kathmandu. Now I understand a lot of thing about life and how a children have to grow up. They are all very responsible, very friendly, and they teach us how to remain happy even with a hard life. This organization is not a trap, your money, your time will be invest for the children. Lalit is the guy with the biggest heart I ever met in my life, he stopped his job to take care for someone else. I think it's a hard decision, but i respect him a lot. After all, regardless the orphanage's situation, I host you freely with smile, food, and plan everything you need. Thank you Lalit you are a great man.

Title: "a perfect trip…….not to be missed " "This year at the end of february i went in Nepal for 18 days for the second time and i did a small trekking in the Annapurna region, I went to visit Pokhara, Kathmandu, Bakthapur and Nagarkot and I saw the National Park of Chitwan and in this trip I had the pleasure to meet (name removed) H...e is an independent trekking guide and tour operator in Nepal and he has already obtained trekking guide license from the ministry of tourism, government of Nepal. In his work (name removed) is a person very responsible and serious, very helpful and attentive to his customers, he knows very well the mountain because he has many years of experience and is also an excellent guide for visiting the cities, the best thing for me is that he loves his country very much and loves his work and always manages to convey all his enthusiasm with simple ways and always with the smile. Sanjib is also a very funny person and after this experience we became a very good friend For these reasons I am very glad to report the site of (name removed).
