Quality homeware at decent prices. Attentive staff to assist you. You end up spending a fortune when you start matching items but really where else do you go for top stuff. Ikea? Nope

The whole experience was great from start to finish, took a little longer to arrive than expected, however on the day of delivery I had a call 30 mins before and the chaps where very polite and respectful they put the furniture together in minutes, looks fantastic.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service that I have received from Housing units from the shop floor sales team to the delivery service, it was a faultless.

I was super impressed with the wide variety and price ranges that Housing units offered ,there is something for everybody no matter what budget you are on and always worth a look in at the clearance.

I have been back twice since my purchase and I am proud to say that Housing units have got a regular customer now after my wonderful experience, service that online only furniture stores can’t compete.

My husband and myself ordered a dining set which was to be ordered in, the staff were very helpful and informative. We had to call back in at a later day to sign so.e papers and noticed the set was discounted, I asked about the price change and they changed our bill with no mither.

The dining set arrived when they said it would and we are very pleased with the quality. Highly recommend Housing Units.

I saw a table and chairs online which really caught my eye. It was a large purchase for me and something I had saved a long time for. Right from making contact with Housing Units about placing the order to the order being delivered I had great customer service, clarity and what was advised was delivered.Everyone was really friendly and answered all questions I had about the purchase and the after care of the items.

Ordered the Harrington Oak table which I had seen on the web site and called to check the stock status which I was delighted to have confirmed it was available as all other companies I had called were quoting 8 to 12 weeks. All members of staff I spoke with were extremely helpful and efficient and having placed the order for delivery down to Bedfordshire I was advised I would hear from the third party carrier within a few days. As promised I received a call from the carrier Sprintshift whom delivered with 7 days. The Table arrived on time and was well protected in the packaging and the drivers delivered it to the exact location in the house and were first class. After removal of the packaging the table was found to be in perfect condition and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Well done Housing Units and would certainly have no hesitation in buying from you again or recommending you , which I have already done to sone friends.

Firstly the positives.

Staff in store are lovely and very helpful, happy to give you advice in store on the products, unfortunately one of the items we wished to purchase was on a long lead time and not available for when we would need it. We did however purchase fpur other items from the store.

However the negatives, After purchase customer service very lacking and left a sour taste.

We paid a deposot in store for the item but when we got home we spotted the item at two another retailers which were much cheaper and offering free home delivery (HU charge). I noticed that HU state that if you find the item cheaper to contact them so they can try to match the price. I sent some relevant documentation and proof of price on email, The customer service advisor tried every excuse to make out that the item "could" be different as the retail code was slightly different and they could not clarify that it was identical as the size "might be different"

When i replied starting that the item was from the same manufacturer and using the same images as their own website and requested additional information they then ignored me and my emails. Obviously they just didn't want to match the price.

To just ignore a customer is probably one of the worst things for a business, this has put me off further purchases at HU and i will shop elsewhere going forward.

I visited the store after browsing online for an electric fire and then realizing that the store had a further 10% discount offered in addition to the already reduced price in their sale.

The staff that I spoke with both on the phone prior to my visit and the staff in store could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful.

I have since been back to the store twice with friends and have had lunch whilst there which was also delicious.

I am visiting again this weekend with another friend, as each time I visit there are more lovely items to look at and their Christmas display is so well presented and brings the festive season alive.

I would definitely recommend a visit to the store.
