Windsor High Back Sofa

We bought a Ekornes Stressless Windsor high back sofa in January 2915 and it is the worst purchase we have ever made. From day one it has been subject to creaks and strains from the base frame; none of us are overweight by the way. We have had the expert from the retailer to look at it and he passed it on to Fira services who are Ekornes recommended repairer. Fira have visited us on two occasions and we have even had two new frame ends and a front bar replaced on the product. We are at our wits end as to what to do next and feel that we have a 9 month old sofa with a 12 year age. If anyone is considering buying a Ekornes Windsor High Back Sofa then don't. It is, in our opinion, a shoddily constructed product and you could probably do better at DFS. It is no wonder that they only have an average star rating of 2 for their products
