“Disappointing experience”

Contacted Gerard Moore after reading such good reviews. However I was disappointed by the disinterested attitude both over the phone and in person. Having come to measure up for a home office design I received no designs by email in 48 hours as promised. I called a week later and was told they couldn't look into where my designs were as they were just off to see a new client and took my details again to call me back the following day. Gerard has just completed fitted wardrobes and associated bedroom furniture in immaculate fashion. This is the third bedroom he has undertaken and all three are superb. numerous designs to choose from. Gerard came and measured up next day and a couple of weeks later my robes were fitted. The fitting team cleaned up after themselves and the quality of the soft close robe doors is terrific. compared to other companies Gerard Moore are very competitive on price. We are delighted with our new fitted bedroom furniture, the sliding mirrored wardrobes are fantastic, just exactly what we were looking for but couldn't find in any of the stores. the bedside tables look lovely and the fitted headboard and built in dressing table are brilliant! not to mention the luxurious matching stool. “Brilliant from start to finish”

We have just had our fitted wardrobes fitted and they are superb in both design and quality. Gerard came round, measured up, gave us great ideas and sent us a design by email in a timely manner. “Really great!”

We ordered a fitted wardrobe for our mains bedroom and couldn't be happier with the result. Staff was very polite and professional from start to finish. The wardrobe wasn't a simple design as one of our walls stands at an angle and we wanted to make the most of the available space. Gerard Moore made a design that incorporate all our requests. Simple and elegant with good quality wood and finishes. Fitter was very nice and cleaned after himself. Will use again in the future… Read Full Review

Despite emails, phone calls and a visit to the shop I could not get a quote from this business for a 13-foot built-in wardrobe. I can only assume that it was of insufficient value to them because it was not a full bedroom suite, but the lack of any response is disappointing… Read Full Review

Gerard Moore fitted our friends bedroom and was really happy the results, hence recommended him to us, we did shop around including some larger outlets. Gerard was very competitive and included some additional ideas for us to consider, his team were polite, punctual and were very tidy. Our bedroom fitted by Gerard Moore in 1986 needed updating, our visit to the showroom was met with help & suggestions,& all our requests were ackowledged & assistance was offered at all stages of choosing the style we wanted. Had reservations as we live in old cottage with free standing pine bedroom furniture but decided we needed more space & easier to dust. We love our built in wardrobes & dressing table also large bedside cupboards which serve as small chest of drawers. Measuring, quotes & fitting were great & we got exactly what we anticipated with lots of storage & built in tv - so much easier than free standing furniture. “Wardrobes at last”

Having moved house recently and leaving a house with all fitted wardrobes ,we were faced with a house with none. We got a few quotes, one from a comedian who quoted a thousand more than we ended up paying. “Good quality workmanship”

I went into the shop and chose my design after a home visit to get the measurements of my room. The prosess was very good , they had so much choice of woods and finishes I was spoilt for choice. It was only 2 weeks later they started fitting it and they were very professional and tieded up every night before they left. I am so happy with my room now, it is fantastic. I approached Gerard Moore Bedroom Design as they had originally provided my wardrobe which needed to be replaced after about thirty years. I was impressed that I was not sold an expensive new wardrobe, and the firm was prepared to use the existing frame and put on new doors.
