Disgusting Service! Avoid At All Costs.

Ordered a dining table 12th oct, chose them as they said they could get it quicker than anyone else.
Immediately I received an email to say it was out of stock..have still not received it, had a family Christmas without a table to eat around, they have NEVER ONCE replied to any of my emails, the 0800 number does not work and the 0345 number goes through to what sounds like a residential answerphone and calls are NEVER returned.
I have sought advice today and will be claiming the money back from my credit card company.
This company is not even registered at Company's house.
They are just money grabbing liars, I feel so angry with them and it has really shaken my trust in online ordering. I feel so silly I did not realise they weren't a registered company.
When I spoke to CAB they said they had broken the law by not even sending through details after the purchase of terms and conditions, cancellation policy, cooling off period etc. they are reporting them to trading standards.
I hope they get what they deserve, disgusting money grabbing liars.

Do not order from these jokers under any circumstances, they will take your money then tell you they can't deliver your item for months. If you ask for a refund you will drop into a black hole, no email will be answered, no call will be answered, no furniture will be delivered, no money will be returned.
These people are perpetrating online fraud and I am seeking legal advice to recover my money.

If anyone from Furnishing Homes ever reads this or any of the numerous reviews why do you not respond and put your house in order. Four chairs ordered. Money taken. No goods. Is this not stealing ? I will pursue them as a matter of principal but will also post a favourable review if anyone from the company deals with the matter in a satisfactory way.
The Worst Customer Service Ever
The most frustrating company. Took over a month to ship my item, and when I requested to return/refund, they ignored my 5 voice mails (NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONE) and emails over the course of 2 weeks. I had to contact the shipping company to get in touch with them and then they said I have to pay £30 to return the item which cost £85...! They then did not respond to my following emails...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR SUPPORT THEM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND FRUSTRATING.

Ordered a dining set on 1 October as the website stated that it was in stock with a 7-12 day delivery. That's where the good news ended! They e mailed me back within 2 days stating the table design had changed slightly but were still in stock and asked if I still wished to proceed. I checked my credit card statement on line and they had already taken my money without waiting for a reply! I asked if it would still be delivered within the timescale which they assured me as again they confirmed it was in stock. I heard nothing for the next 14 days and e mailed for an update. It was only then that they replied stating it wasn't in fact in stock and suggested I choose something else and they would offer a discount. I phoned and expressed my anger and discuss at the deceit and lies I was being fed. I demanded that they cancel my order and refund my card. This is when they said that they do not store credit card details and it would have be a refund by cheque? Another week went by and no cheque so I contacted them again and they said the first cheque must have "got lost" in the post and they would send another one. I asked for it to be sent recorded delivery and they said it wasn't possible but gave no reason. It was then that I started to worry about ever receiving my hard earned cash. Another week went by and no refund. It was then that I began to read other reviews that were remarkably similar to my experiences. It was then that I got my credit card company involved through the dispute resolution team. After some paperwork was completed they credited my account with a full refund within 7 days and they would pursue the company via MasterCard. A wholly stressful and never to be repeated experience. Please steer clear of them. Order at your peril!

Worst Customer Service !!
When looking for some new furniture I came across this company, I have to say this is where the nightmare began.
They told me delivery was 10 days, that was fine if it had of been true. 4 weeks later my furniture arrived, after finally putting the furniture up and missing screws and bolts etc, the doors on the item were extremely bowed ! I have been emailing them since the beginning of September and calling them to get no response.
The good are good quality just a shame they don't have the decency to deal with issues. I have emailed and asked to speak to management again no response. I'm not sure where to go next as I feel this service is absolutely appaulling. If anyone can advise if welcome anything to get me issues resolved.
But my main message to people is don't waste you money and definitely not with this company!

Please do not use this company!!!!!! Ordered a table and chairs and like everybody else was told they were in stock so when I repeatedly phoned to ask when they would be shipping them I was told a different story everytime. Eventually after 2 weeks I snapped and basically demanded to know the truth. Miracously I then received an email telling me that the chairs I had ordered were damaged and would li like to pick an alternative. I snapped and said no send me a refund!!!! I then received a cheque which bounced, contacted them again and they claimed they would transfer direct into my bank which they never all the while I phoned them everyday demanding to speak to the manager who appears to never be in(wish I had a job like that) and customer service agents feed you rubbish!! I then contacted my bank for chargeback which I received. PLEASE AVOID!!!!
I Wonder If I'll Ever Get My Furniture
I ordered, and paid for furniture (a bookcase and end table) from Furnishing Homes more than 2 months ago. Since that time, there has been a stream of silence, excuses when I call or write to them, lack of response, and more excuses. I still don't have my furniture. When I purchased the items, I expected the furniture to be delivered within about 10 business days.
I also get different answers each time I call or write. I still don't know if they intend to deliver both pieces of furniture at the same time. I get conflicting answers from them. However, since I don't have even one of the pieces I paid for, that's the least of my concerns.
This is the worse service I've ever received from a company. I've told them that if I don't have an answer today about when the furniture will be delivered, I'll start legal action to get back my money. I have no idea if the furniture will be as described, since I have not seen it.

Abysmal Beyond Belief - Do Not Order.
This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with and the service in terrible beyond belief.
I ordered a small dining table 4 weeks ago and was text straight after promising delivery within 5-10 days (already later than they promised on their website). 10 days came and went. I phoned, was told by a woman in India call centre that they were sorry and it would be arranged for the next Monday. Monday comes and goes, my mother waits at home all day for a delivery that never arrives. I call the company, and am told the courier 'forgot' to pick it up from the warehouse.
My disappointment is met with silence and repeatedly scripted 'I apologise' and no further information. After exchanging emails that took many days to be responded to, and further phonecalls that are never answered, I am told the table will arrive on Friday. Again, the same situation repeats. My mother wastes another day waiting for the table.
I have again been 'apologised' to and this time they blame the courier yet again and they will arrange a delivery for next week. I replied giving an angry indication that next week is not good enough, now being around 8 weeks past the original sale date. No response and the request for a refund has been ignored.
I later found out that the item was never in stock as they have no warehouse. Instead, the furniture is bought dodgily in the Middle East and shipped over, but is always said to be 'in stock'. When the shipment does not arrive, customers are told that it's the 'couriers' fault' as if they assume customers will never talk to one another to find out what they do.
I have emailed threatening to report to trading standards, which I am now looking into, and have not received a response.
Please, please avoid this company at all costs. Do not be drawn in by their good prices and website promising all sorts of good customer service, it is too good to be true and you will never see your money again.
