“A very disappointing experience!”

During our first few visits the customer service was great, we were dealt with promptly and efficiently and the saleswoman was very patient whilst we changed our minds a few times about what sort of design we wanted. We were given an idea about what sort of cost we would be looking at and decided to book in for a survey and get the ball rolling.....................that's when things changed ! “Do not buy an electric fire from here”

Visited the Bolton branch and ordered an electric fire, we were asked about the fitment of the current fire and we confirmed it was wired into the wall to a fuse unit and not plugged in via a 3 pin plug. We were told by the salesperson this wouldn't be an issue, the fitters will take care of everything including channelling any addition wires into the wall and plastering over if required, brilliant. I visited the store with my partner as we are a young couple who have recently bought a house. We went to look at a range of stoves and when we got to the fireplace warehouse, we couldn’t have been greeted in a better manner the staff where unbelievably helpful and seemed extremely enthusiastic. “Terrible Customer Service ”

My advice to anyone thinking of buying a fire from this company is think again. We purchased a Belmont 12kw multi fuel stove through eBay. The stove arrived about 1 week later than should have and arrived on a lorry with 1 young driver and no means of lifting a stove weighing over 150 kg. On inspection by a heatas engineer he described the stove having the appearance of seconds. “Very poor customer service”

Absolutely shocking customer service - After initial contact proved hard Ive now spent 4 days trying to contact them and still have not spoke to them. Sales department refuse to help saying its not their department. You cannot leave a post on facebook as they review every post. Please accept our apologies if you feel that we haven't dealt with this issue in an appropriate manner. It is always our intention that the customer comes first, in fact our good reputation has been built on customer's recommending us to friends and family. I have checked with our customer services and they returned your call within an hour and left a message as you were in a meeting. Our phone system logs all calls and we can find no record of any further calls made from your phone numbers over the following 4 days. The next contact we had was this review and within one hour had recontacted you and we have arranged for the manufacturer to contact you direct. I believe the confusion may have arisen as the fire was purchased on the 23th October 2015 and the manufacturers state that a gas appliance should be serviced/safety checked within a 12 month period and not at the end of 12 months

“Rude and Arrogant Salesman”

Visited the Hazel Grove store to see 2 fireplaces I had shortlisted. I askked the saleman for some information about whether my gas fire would be suitable for either of the two fireplaces. His reply was that he didn't know anything about the fire so couldn't help. It was a Flavel fire so hardly unheard of. His rudeness verged on the verbally aggressive, he did not want to help at all.
