I have been trying to contact direct ferries for over a month now, I sent an email at the beginning of June after searching high and low for an email address.we are due to travel at the end of aug but are unable to due to the current situation. I was told they would contact me within 7-14 days however I've still not received anything. I thought I was saving time using Direct Ferries rather than booking direct but it turns out I was very wrong. They refuse to refund my money and now refuse to answer my emails. In October, I booked return tickets to Ireland through Direct Ferries.com and paid extra to get a fully cancelable, refundable and amendable ticket. Still no answers from directferries. Last email from them was 5 days ago to finally tell us that we need to send an email to use the voucher. “Deceptive Refund Policy”

My family and I made reservations for 12 (plus cars) from Dublin to Holyhead and also Cairnryan to Belfast. We purposely paid extra in order for the tickets to be refundable. Now that we cannot travel due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we had to cancel. Stuffing your trousers with weasels would be preferable to dealing with these people. My wife made the mistake of booking a ferry from Wellington to Picton (NZ). She has no military experience and assumed that "0230" was "2.30 pm". “WHERE IS MY REFUND??”

Our travel agent booked through Direct Ferries for a trip from Mykonos to Santorini on 14/09/2019. I found Direct Ferries a very unsatisfactory company to deal with. In particular I paid for coaches to take me to and from the Ferry Terminal. But I could not get them to send me a copy of the ticket or a voucher. It was only when I approached the ferry company directly that I was able to get a voucher. Terrible experience, tried to book a ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki, got a message that my credit card has been debited but my booking is not confirmed. I never got a confirmation and the date I wanted to book for has passed. After that they don't answer to e-mails and if I try to contact them by phone, I got an automate which lets me wait forever for someone I can talk to. “They got the booking wrong”

Booked with Directferries Spain to Tangier. The website pointed us to Algecris to Tangier Med. do not do this, Tangier Med is an hour and 30 euros from Tangier. Also we were booked on a crossing that did not exist, an 11am crossing that went at 2pm. We were told to be there 2 hours prior ( for walk on) which is not required at all. The initial ferry reservations went well. But I needed to modify the reservations from 5 passengers down to 4. And from there everything went bad. I tried using their website which was so buggy I could not do the changes. I contacted customer service about 5 times (usually waiting an average of 10 mins on line) and finally they modify the reservation but never refunded the tickets (which were fully refundable by the ferry company). Unfortunately I have read your review too late.
I booked with them for Brittany Ferries the Brittany total price was £268 including a twin berth outside cabin, with direct ferries the price was £337.23, I am trying to contact them to ask why the difference but at the moment I have had no reply and judging from your review I feel I may wait a long time. I do hope I am wrong.

We arrived at the ferry ticket office, as instructed, to be told that Direct Ferries had made the booking for us BUT had NOT transferred the money, even though we had paid them. Tried to book a ferry from Denia to Ibiza with this sham of a company.Gave me a price of 633 euro for a car and 7 passengers. Fair enough. Went through the whole booking process inputting a lot of information apart from what color knickers I had on. webiste NEVER works to ammend booking - you can only view your booking. webiste NEVER has up to date information regarding sailings on it. Calling the PREMIUM RATE NUMBER at 11p per minute is frustrating, you are routintgley put on hold for a mnimum of 10 minutes and I had one call of over an hour! Staff are hit or miss- 3:1 you will get an incompetantt nincompoop following a script. Rarely do you get a knowledgable staff mamber who understands the system.
