As soon as I got to the Tanning Salon I was asked if I had ever used mystic tanning I said no I wasn’t given any advice of any kind I chose a medium colour tan and the lady put the solution into the appliance told me about the foot sole protection and hair protection then she told me to just follow the instructions the floor was so slippery I nearly fell over a few times the instructions were too fast when I finished I waited for my tan and now 7 hours later my legs haven’t tanned at all I have a slight tan to my face and arms I’m really not happy . I would have liked to have been given advice on tan acceleration products and advice especially as I told the girl that I had never had any kind off spray tan before I am extremely unhappy with the service and the fact that I haven’t tanned I looked into what to do before and I exfoliated and didn’t apply any moisturiser oh sorry the only advice I was given was to put some cream on my knees elbows and my heels other than that, nothing

The WORST fake tan company ever. Their beds have some sort of bacteria. The beds are never really cleaned. They just wipe the beds with a towel and do not disinfect the beds. FYI. I know of two people that have caught something from laying in the beds. They also buy used lotion and then fill the bottle back up and resell. Filing a complaint with BBB today.

This so-called review isn't even about the method that Mystic tans employs.... Mystic uses NO beds, no "wiping down with towels"... no "lotions etc etc... Mystic is a standalone booth you enter and stand the entire time, while a gentle spray covers your body, drying between positions/"coats".... The booth self-cleans after you exit with your new spray tan already dried and ready for you to dress normally. The tan is even, not "orangy" or unusual colors, and looks like a natural tan fi directions are followed properly.
PLEASE DISREGARD ANYTHING THIS POSTER SAYS
I have come to enjoy the experience and results of Mystic spray tans, with virtually NO bad experiences or side effects. I personally recommend the Mystic spray tans,

Very even, natural looking color. I love being able to choose from different levels based on how tan I want to be. This is by far the best spray tanning option I've come across, would never do anything other than a Mystic from now on! It takes a few hours to develop so I like to do it in the evening, sleep on it and then wake up with a beautiful tan!!

Go somewhere where the person working knows what they are doing. It has the potential to give good results but it can easily be messed up. Lots of prep work and after care stuff to make it look and last.

I do 3 spray tans at least a month and I absolutely LOVE them! If I want instant colour it's great and I get over a week out of each one I do! I always get complemented on how natural looking my tan is! They are great for weddings and well everything I think! I think everyone should try a spray tan and I'd bet they would love it as much as I do =]

I loooove how quick the Mystic tan is! I do them about 2-3 times a month and get about 7-8 days out of It. Quick, easy to dp and amazing color.

The Fabutan Mystic HD was amazing! They made me feel comfortable before entering the private, warm booth and it was over in under three minutes! The colour developed evenly and looked natural (I did the light formula). Within 6 hours the colour came out and it lasted for about 7 days! I loved that I didn't have to dry myself down because the booth dried me between each spray. Overall I was very happy and I plan on going back regularly.

In preparation for a wedding this weekend a friend decided to get a spray tan to cover the natural v shaped tan mark on her chest (her dress for the wedding is strappy) and wanted someone to go with. I thought I'd give it a whirl as normally when I try self tanning it comes all streaky and my bathroom ends up in a mess. So we went and booked two appointments at The Tanning Shop for Mystic Tan HD. I like to know what I'm getting myself into so I watched a couple of videos on YouTube to get an idea and get prepared. Made sure I exfoliated my whole body each day for a couple of days and moisturised well twice a day. On the day of the spray tan I wore no makeup and moisturised lightly (the appointment was later that day). The spray tan itself was fairly easy so long as you do all the instructions. Make sure when you put your hairnet on to leave your ears uncovered and also your hairline too. Apply barrier cream to your toe and finger nails, in-between your toes and fingers, the palms of your hands, knees and elbows, any other dry areas and I'd also say the bottoms of your feet (I didn't and mine are very very dark now!). I wish I had applied a little more to my hands in general as I have funny looking streaks which I am going to remove with some wipes. I stepped onto the disposable flat "slippers" started the machine and stepped into the booth. I activated the machine inside and got into position. This is important. Make sure you hold your arms away from your body at all times. I must have forgotten at some point and I have little white areas under my armpits. Oops. I held my breath when I could see the spray coming near my face and all in all the spray itself only took about 3-5 minutes. In between sprays a heated fan dries you off and keeps you warm. I was pretty much dry when I came out so didn't bother wiping down with the towel. I gently wiped away the barrier cream but think I went a bit overboard on my hands hence the streakiness. The colour developed over about 4-6 hours and is a bit whiffy, like biscuits but once I had a shower in the morning the smell wore off a bit. The colour is good (I went for light no bronzer) and looks pretty natural as it hits all the areas like a suntan would. I'd recommend for those pale type wanting to get some colour in a safer way but please look up the video before you go, they really help you prepare.

Obviously someone who is NOT talking about Mystic from personal experience....
They refer to "beds".. Mystic uses a booth that you stand up in, NOT a bed...nothing to lay on or in as mentioned...
They do NOT provide lotion etc to use with the Tanning booth, nothing to towel down or wipe off, the booth self-cleans after every use
