Mandarin Palace, Hornchurch

I took my partner here on valentine's day evening and at the age of 64 I have been to a few restaurants over the years but this place was and is perfect staff perfect and food perfect.

Long list of wine with good food. But prawns were overcooked again.

Love this restaurant. Been here a few times now. The food is amazing, portion sizes a little small. Lovely building over two floors. Lots of tables and able to cater for big parties. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service is good. The only thing I would say on a negative note is that they often say they are fully booked yet they appear to have tables free. This puts me off a little when i'm looking at eating out on the spur of the moment. If it's a special occasion i will book. The other thing I will add is that it's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Again, it's good for a nice occasion.

I have eaten at Mandarin Palace in Hornchurch - food excellent, ambience good, service brilliant.

Great for both families,couples or groups.

Mandarin Palace set dinners are great value and can be changed within reason to suit taste. They have their own specially made chilli oil that is amazing that they only do at the Hornchurch site and not at their other restaurant Gants Hill.

Mandarin Palace is a very nice restaurant and you can not fault the food. As said previously, the staff are hovering waiting to serve you your next course.

It is like they want you in as quick as possible, if there are 2 of you, and out again!
