The Mighty Boosh Is My Favourite Thing In The Whol
The Mighty Boosh is my favourite thing in the whole world.
there is nothing that can cheer you up like a good session of boosh and no matter how many times you watch it, its still just as funny as the first.
like some people have said i think its an aquired taste, some people just dont get it at all, but i reckon thats the point, youre not supposed to really get it, its just supposed to be fun and silly and other-worldly.
i love everything theyve done, from the small titbits of the very first live shows in venues round london, to the radio show, to the tv series, and the massive live tours round the uk. and of course the festival was a huge hit.
cant say a bad word really, i love it, noel & julian are my absolute heroes.
I'm English And I've Been Following These Lads Sin
I'm English and I've been following these lads since their radio series was first broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in the early noughties, and they have never ceased to surprise and amaze me with their ingenuity in finding the funny. Their's is the humour of a bunch of people who are enjoying what they are doing, don't take it too seriously, and allow ideas to immature nicely to their most ludicrous conclusion. Their flexibility in seeing the opportunities in any medium demonstrates this, time and again. I've heard so many people talking about that programme being better than this one. I imagine that if Julian and Noel were listening they'd be cracking themselves up. Some people might simply catergorise the Boosh as stoner humour, but this does them an incredible injustice. Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer, and Steve Coogan (the executive producer of the TV series), all comic luminaries in the UK, can't all be wrong. And, take it from me, they're not.
