Hollyoaks

Hollyoaks lost its way a long time ago and unfortunately has done nothing about it.

Being a soap opera, storyline is paramount. Hollyoaks storylines are getting more and more implausible. Each time implausibly enters the viewer’s mind - they are reminded of the last one. Too many, and one starts to question why they watch Hollyoaks.

I have watched Hollyoaks from the beginning and thus continued during dire storylines, but enough is enough.

Excellent storylines do not need sensationalism and yet that’s all Hollyoaks seem to do.

0.2 to 0.3% of children are born deaf - this is 1 in 400. one character in Hollyoaks is represented as deaf since birth and one became deaf during a car accident. Is this proportional? Have there been 400 child actors in Hollyoaks since its inception in 1995?

3% of young people (To 45 years of age) identify as queer, there have been at least 32 characters since the first homosexual character. Does this represent the U.K. demography? Have there been over 1000 young actors in Hollyoaks since 1995?

0.5% of the U.K. population identify as trans. 4 Characters in Hollyoaks have identified as trans - is that representational? Have there been 800 actors since 1995?

Currently 2 characters are trans, are there currently 400 charters in Hollyoaks to make the figure of 2 representative?

1.5% of over 16 year olds identify as bisexual. There have been at least 17 Bisexual characters since the first bisexual character in 2007. Have there been over 1100 over 16 year old characters in Hollyoaks since 1995 to warrant the 17 being representative of the public?

Are we supposed to believe the village of Hollyoaks somehow has an inordinate number of trans, homo or bisexual characters?

I don’t believe the script writers should have sensationalised the storylines in this disproportionate manner.

The fact hollyoaks is presenting false acting upon marijhuan is stupid. “Weed” is a very common drugs and those who smoke it clearly know that after smoking a joint there’s no way you would get in an argument nor get angry with anyone around you. It’s a love drug, people are more likely to have a scrap after a beer then if they smoked a joint. Big up the pigeon weed!

I think Hollyokas is amazing. Totally watch it, I mean it, I love it. There are so any things happening and it so adictitve. I would love to be abe to live in the set of it because its so brill, there are so many hot guys in it. I can honestly say I love it seriously. ;) I would love to be there and see it being filmed. ;) I love Hollyoaks XXX

It's soo muchy better than all the other soaps. More storylines and soo original. Other soaps jsut have the same old typical storylines which get soo boring. Hollyoaks doesn't get enough credit as it should.

People see Hollyoaks as the soap that isn't as good as Eastenders, Coronation Street etc. But it's actually just as exciting...if not more! Give it a try! Amazing storylines, they don't over-do their storylines and there's always a good mix of drama and comedy.

Hollyoaks is very funny, however, it has quite boring storyline and not enough explosions. Very good overall.

Hollyoaks has lots of storylines. This is mainly what happens; people start relationships, they split up, they cheat, they fight and, occasionally someone dies, usually by violence. We like the fact that young people like us can relate to the storylines. It's also educational in the way it gives us a greater awareness of things, such as the date rape story at the moment. And it also seems they also use actors of the correct age.

Hollyoaks is the best and all the cast members have all got a talent and are all special individuals. The Hollyoaks producer is doing a fab job by getting all these young people who can really act playing the conterversial roles.

The new cast members like Simon Cole who plays Jeremy (aka Jez) is fantastic they couldn't of picked any one better to play him, well done keep up the good work.
