My 2 year old has been pretty much addictedt to Peppa Pig since she was about 18 months old.
Its a very simple format, with very basic and simple imagery, but for some reason it really seems to work with this age group.
The episodes are mildly educational too so you dont feel too bad if you plonk the child in front of the TV for 10 minutes. Each episode is pretty short (5-10 mins) and if your kids are anything like mine, they'll be happy watching the episodes over and over again.
There are also books which reflect most of the episodes, so you can read a book to your little one too if you prefer this to TV watching.
My only negative comment is that my daughter loves Peppa Pig (and particularly her little brother, George) so much that she goes on and on about "Peppa Pig please" until she gets to see a TV episode or read a book - real pester power!
